If the modifications have been done and it is a light colour then it is hp20 which you can get in a citroen/pug dealer as using atf in a modified system will cause big problems later on....

There is a high chance it is atf but i only thought i would pass on some of my info from my years with alfa as you can end up with problems with vag cars as they use mineral oil and if you use atf you will end up changing the pump and rack soon after....

if it is pink then it is standard atf as if it was a light colour it would hyave been hp20 but the vw thing was an allelegy as lads put the wrong fluid in out of ignorance and blow the seals in the rack and pump...... oh and the 166 use to blow the pipes off the rack with the wrong fluid

Is the PS system leaking or just in need of a top up? Changing the PS hoses can be a P.I.T.A.
