I have been driving a 95bhp Mito for the last three weeks. Did about 1000miles for far.
1) Performance & Handling
Having been used to 200Bhp in the past, the 95bhp Mito seems very under powered to me. You really need to rev thro the gears to get going.
The DNA system offers A(All weather) ,N(Normal) and D(Dynamic). In N mode, the driving experience is truly awful - light wolly steering, poor throttle response. In Dynamic, things are much better, tight and sharp steering excellent fast throttle response. I generally keep it in D now.
In D mode, the car is really nice to drive on windy country roads, reminds me of a Sud.
It will do motorway speeds with ease and reasonably quietly.
The engine note at idle and speed makes a very pleasing rumble/burble. Seemingily Alfa worked on this and its not a hole in the exhaust.
I have 16in alloys on mine and at times the ride can be quite hard especially over speed bumps.
2) Fuel Economy
I have averaged 41.4mpg on a mixture of city and country driving.
The cabin is a nice place to be. Switch gear is fine. In the base Turismo spec on my car, only have manual seat control but does have lumbar control.
I do find the rear of the seat where it joins back to be rather hard but still fine on a long journey.
I have a Pioneer 3300BT in mine which is excellent. (but this is an aftermarket addon)
Heater and aircon seem fine.
Trip computer etc all fine.
Rear parcel shelf is flimsy and bounces around a lot - I have velcrod mine down.
Rear seats are fine for adults but for kids the rear windows are rather high up so they can't see out ---- que "I feel sick "
I really like the styling - the front is not everyones cup of tea.
Doors are frameless which look very nice but need to open a 1/8in (automatically) when the door is open
