Meet idea

I was lurking through boards.ie and seen this

It would be a great idea for an alfaowner day out to do some karting

I think it could have potential but i saw one comment saying that the tracks can be too small with no chance of overtaking so it couldbe similar to the last meet. It could be worth checking out a few cheap b and b's as it can be heavy enough of a day if you have travelled a good distance or how about off road karting as that can be quick and very intense.

Brilliant idea... Watergrasshill, Corcaigh is a good spot... Karting | Kartworld Adventure Centre Cork | Karting, International Track, Floodlit Track Cork, Race Track Cork, Karting in Cork, Kids Karting

There is a good track near Kilkenny too... I can't remember the name though right now.. they were gas powered karts, outdoor track and good layout.

Of course I'd say we better use their Karts as I don't fancy taking the cars out on the track...

I'm in (whatever track we settle on). Whiteriver is a fantastic spot. Excellent track and very very good carts. Cheap too considering it's outdoor with new karts.

Obviously we'll be using their karts But looking at the prices, they're not bad

I've tried this before you get loads of interest but rarely people turn up. If you get around 10+ people you can get a deal on it in Kartworld in Cork. I've seen the track in KK it's good but by christ the road to it is **** and it's in a pain in the hole place to get to compared to Cork.

athboy is supposed be good

Athboy Karting Centre

Now with added hovercraft racing!

Athboy Karting Centre

Agree with damien though, somewhere like Athboy is a pain to get to even from the N7. Is there not one near midway services?

I don't care where it is as long as the track is good for overtaking

Actually, someone needs to find a karting track near a strip club. Let's go there.

Let's try to get one organised first

Drinks and nipples aside, i reckon we should stick to outdoor tracks though. Indoor ones are usually wrecked with useless karts.

I'd be well into meeting up for a bit of karting

In my experience the only good outdoor tracks are Midland Karting in Longford, Pallas in Galway, Whiteriver in Louth , Athboy in Meath and Watergrass hill in Cork.
