Photograph v Snapshot?

Hi All,

So headed for Adare last Sunday to the IFS (sorry I missed the AO display , arrived just after lunch and by the time we got to where the Alfa's were parked there was just empty grass!!!). Took quite a few photo's and tbh they all seem to be sh1te, nothing rising above the label of "snapshot". So spent a few hours online and came across this page that has some useful tips and tricks Automobile/Motorcar Photography Tips by Curt Scott , and thought I would share the info.

Now to start practicing to improve for next event........

Step 1. Take off the ****** lens cap!!!!!

Pity about you not been there it would have been a record number we all escaped before 4ish , as there was gonna be some bedlam after 5 ..

I used to get very black picture's as well .. must check the lense cap

Actually Dave_P here is fairly handy with a camera but his is one of these SLR's but he will give you help if needed I just have a point and click Nikon coolpics so if it shakes i just take another Pic/snap !

I remember finding that a few years ago

I just looked at the pics mostly as I couldn't face reading all of it Maybe I'll give it another go.

Hope you get something out of it

You are not allowed to base opinions of the pictures on prior knowledge and you have to forget the fact that Rosso Red coveres up every possible paint sin when photographed, ok?
