Some scumbag took a key or screwdriver to the 166 in Charleville Saturday, two back doors and quarter panels, initals start with a Y as they left that on the nearside back door What must be going through their pea sized brains.

Pity it's not a lump from a .22 Sorry to hear that. Its senseless crap. Lucky for them you didnt catch them at it

My missus has a nice section of her roof engraved after a recent supermarket trip. Some *** decided to heap something on the roof as they were packing their own car I presume. It could be a bunch of keys that resemble something Mr T would be proud to wear around his neck. Very disappointing.

Dumb question, any CCTV around? If you need any elbow grease give us a shout.

Its Metallic black. I had a better look this evening and I tried some black polish on it, I don't think it was a key, more like rings the scratches are fine enough in places, not all have gone down to the primer. The polish toned them down a bit but they can still be seen

The way work is at the moment there will be no sorting it, all I can do is try and disguise it, I must try some of that paintstick stuff see if that helps.

What about compounding it? I done this to my old bmw when someone wrote their name on my bonnit. It was pretty finely scratched in to it so a good bit of elbow grease with some compound removed it completely.

KiKi I have a buddy that might be able to help you. He does detailing and might be able to make it look better without the expense of painting the car. Give us a buzz if you want his number man.
