Don't need it as a daily. Servicing costs are the same as the TS

Yes you can, you should see the stereo setup Gropius has in his 916 spider You'd just have to loose the rear seats

Damien you'd be mad NOT to get one. If its not going to be used as an everyday car you won't be stung with gogo juice.

Besides you live once! Post a link to the car you're looking at btw.

I would go for the V6. Put a few quid away every week for the tax and by the time it's due you will have no issues paying it. It will be a proper 156 then! Only live once don't ya? You could be dead tommorow and you will be wondering why you didn't buy your V6. Just go for it and if it becomes too much to handle you can always flog it and buy somthing else...
I can imagine after you have driven the V6 version you will be wondering how you ever drove that 1.6 . V6's can only be a mans toy .

Won't be buying one till I come back from the USA but will be more financially able to buy a loan I have had will be finished when I'm back and I will be up a decent amount of money with that gone.

Ohh I have always said I will have a V6 there not the fastest but it's the sound I want from it. Sure I can drive aV6 anytime I want with the 166 out side the door but I want my own. I will have one before my birthday next year.

If you don't need it has a daily driver go for it but the fuel costs are getting quite ridiculous.

They are the same on any Alfa to be honest. I'd rather have something decently quick for the fuel.
