100 Ah battery for my 166

Any idea where to get it from? It's the same as the Mercedes Sprinter 616 CDI battery, but I can't get that either.

..i just got a 100Ah from my local motor factors..?

i think the trick is not to ask for a battery for a 166, just ask for a 100Ah battery. And bring a measuring tape.. they can be pretty big..

The motor factors next to Dunnes Stores on the Quinsborough Road in Bray should have one. They're really helpful in there and they'll fit it for free as well.

good ideas, thanks guys. I have to buy a jumpstart cable first, unless roarsbaby is popping in to Bray again with his magic charger

Saves me a trip Gav!

Levante I wonder is it the same battery in the Twinspark?

I would be curious as to how much they cost?

wow, that's great, even better than AA. I hope I can get home before 7 sometimes this week, and I'll report back.
RB, I think all 166 need the 100 Ah battery, I think it has more to do with the gadgets (heated seats, dsp, xenon) than the engine size...

Can't beat the gadgets although I don't have the xenons...

Still I love a nice warm bum in the winter...

update, they don't do this delivery and fix service anymore, but at least they had the battery...
so I will pick up the guy withe the new battery tomorrow, he'll replace it, then I drive him back. I don't want to short and fry my ICS accidentally.
