I miss Alfa....

.....late last year i sold my 166, she was a great car, an absolute gem, but sadly money was/is tight & i couldn't afford to keep her running as living in the country cars get used alot & subsequently use alot of petrol, & when its hitting Ä1.54/litre...well you get the picture!

Whilst the Stilo i have is a good car, & dirt cheap to own, getting 45mpg, & it being a 1.2 really helps keep costs down, its got no soul (obviously it was never designed to be an Alfa), & the back roads around my house don't seem the same anymore....

So, to all you Alfa owners, i envy you, enjoy the fun!

Yeah, something with a 1.4 twinny engine could get close to that kind of mileage considering I'm getting about 35mpg from my 2L

Waste of time getting a 1.4 it will be just as bad as a 2l on juice I know I have had one. Get a 1.8 or the likes.

I knew you'd miss the Alfas Mark, you've got to stop selling them!
BTW the 147 is still going great - got the upper arms and ARB bushes done and it transformed it inot a new car

it's all about perspectives... tell her it's your birthday present... better than getting drunk at the poledancing club
