What to do with my Ti alloys ?

I have four 17' Ti alloys just off the car and one two are in need some work thanks to your great road network. Do I get them re-shaped, re-shaped and painted or offer them to someone else as a swap. I put four tyres on not long ago and it would be a shame to waste them. I think they look the best of all Alfa wheels and as for handling they are streets ahead of 16's.

Any advice please anyone ?

By "re-shaped" do you mean they are bent? Or do are they slightly dented and so they need filling?

They have a slight flat spot from hitting potholes.

It's Dunboyne so not too close to you, but I'm sure there are similar guys more local.

On this topic, Im looking to pick up a resonably cheap second set of wheels (got 16" winters on right now) for our 156, dont mind taking these on as is if the price is right..

Ah Pat in Wexford. He lives beside John with the dog

I would not sell them as such, but I would swap them if I don't get them fixed up.

Thanks mo4, I hear good things about a place in Bray and that would keep it local.

I'm looking for a set of 18's or 19's for an 2008 Alfa 159 JTD Lusso, it has the 17's on it which I would not be mad on.

Probably better off not going for 19"s unless you can live with the price of tyres & not great mileage out of them either for many people due to alignment issues.

Have a look at the sticky in the 159 Tech Lounge https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...formation.html

I don't actually know Pat either. 19's on a 159 is very big unless your going for that look. Rubber and bad roads would also put me off them.

Back to my ti's though. What do I do ?? I would swap them for another set of 17's if anyone is interested but I do keep falling back into the 'fix and spray them black' line of thinking.

Wheels are clean and naked. Three are good and one is not so good. If anyone wants them tomorrow I can bring them home tonight and leave them out for collection before or after the big meet which I cant make. Let me know before six today though.
