I got a new engine for the 33...

Only thing is it has a 145 attached to it!

I'm stripping the 145 sooner rather than later so if you need any bits give me a shout It all works apart from the wipers.

Like I said the engine and box are mine but if anyone needs injectors/ecu/ignition barrel/doorlocks these will also be up for grabs along with the maroon key.

I'm still on the hunt for a set of alloys for the 33 as a set I bought on gumtree (go figure) were advertised as 4x98, were'nt. A set of five spoke speedlines would be sublime If anyone has anything gis a shout.

Heres a pic of one soon to be very happy alfa, and one soon to be very very unhappy

Is it a 1.6? If you take all the injection crap off it and replace it with the carbs/manifolds of the 33 engine its a straight swap. One thing to look out for is the distrubutor. If the 145 engine doesnt have one, you'll have to pull the oil pump and dizzy out of the 33 engine. Id use the 33 gearbox and keep the other as a spare. Nice ratios in the 33 box.

Hmm...does the 145 have ABS sensors? If so, would you be able to get them off?

yea, abs sensors are normally held on by a screw. I had a cynos once that was, erm converted for the purpose of the nct to a non abs car.

About the brakes though, I was looking on ebay for discs for the 33 and the 145 was listed together with the 33 as compatible by more than one seller. I must put a link up for perusal...

heres one, it would appear to fit everything!

The discsfrom the 145 won't go onto the 33 without lots of work. They are a different diameter unfortunately. (although I did keep the discs and calipers of the 146 just in case I need something to mess with)
