Picked it up yesterday. Its and 83 S3 so the same age a s me original Irish car and very solid, A credit to its last owner who has been minding it for the last 20 odd years. Last on the road in 1999 and last started in 2003.

I did an oil change on the trailer, put some fresh petrol into it, a bit of fiddling with the clutch and drove it off the trailer and into its new home

there will be a recomissioning thread but for the moment, I'll be keeping the details here.

Yeah its from the BMW. Even with the cruise control on, a slight hill resulted in 12mpg

Stock for the moment. It has a little 1.3 with a single carb but theres plenty of other stuff to be getting on with without swapping the engine

When all is said and done, I would like it a little lower with more grunt. That'll be all i do to it.
