Need 33 Parts?

Evening folks,

Putting this in the Irish section only as Im not interested in posting parts (and not really bothered if the bits dont move). A change in circumstances means my parts car needs to disappear pronto. (series 3 black 33)

Ive started stripping it with the intention of storing a lot of the parts for reuse when needed. Im keeping the running gear for myself so engine, ecu, gearbox, driveshaft, brakes etc are gone. All the external lights and bumpers are booked but most of the rest of it is up for grabs. Whatever I dont strip needs to be gone at the end of the month so if anyone needs bits, stick up a post or give me a shout.

Whatever I dont need (or dont realise I need) will be skipped in April.

Might be a decent opportunity to get some of those weird bits that usually get destroyed when a car is dismantled. Ive been pretty careful so far

Frank

Seats still there? And if so, what are they like (condition and style)?

Sorry Rory the seats went into my 33. They were one of the main reasons I bought it.

No not just yet. Ill be keeping all the parts I need for what Im hoping to do, just comes down to timing and funding.

The parts car has been in the garage for the last year or so and its just taking up much needed space. My NCT is up in April and I'll need to do some welding if I want a new one so its time to bite the bullet and get stripping.

LOL so it is well have you any mounts that are not rusted?
was workin on the 33 this evening and while she was just ticking over I saw a tiny bit of steam coming from the top corner of the rad near where the coolant pipe connects we fitted those pipes and the rad proper. am gonna haveto take off the bonnet and front grill to see exactly where its coming from, ******* me off as its just about ready for nct and now this

The scary part is that the whole front section pulled away in my hand once I had the bumper & wings removed. The rot on the front of the car was really really bad.

You'll have the bonnet and grill off in two minutes. Im sure it'll be something small

found the problem today, panic averted. Removed the grill to get better access and the coolant pipe was loose, the clip we put on it was an Aldi/Lidl cheapo special so removed it and fitted a proper clip, topped up the coolant and all sorted. Now I just need to fit rear exhaust section, clean her, adjust handbrake cable and figure out why my foglight wont work then its nct ready
