GT questions

Anyone know what the spec of a 2008 GT lusso should be, wheel size and leather/fabric I'm mainly interested in.

A friend is looking at one and it has only 16 inch spokes and a cloth interior.... sounds a bit strange to me, or is this ok?

Thanks

Lusso is the bog standard version AFAIK.
Tho I thought it came with 17" multispokes and cloth. Could be wrong hopefully a gt owner can put you straight on that.

Wrong way round Paddy, Spec goes Tourismo, Veloce, Lusso. My 156 was Veloce and had 16" multispoke and leather. My Lusso GT has 17", Leather, Zeon Headlights and the Bose hifi

Jeasus I had a Lusso 156 with 16" teles, and cloth.
Haha all these years and I thought the Lusso was the lowest spec.

In Ireland in 2008 the GT was available in a lot of different specs depending on the engine.

See below attachment from December '08 :

Alfa GT 2008.jpg

The Veloce was the base spec ( only available on the 1.8 ), next up was the Lusso ( more a comfort based spec ) then was the Sportivo ( you guessed it, a more sport based spec, bigger wheels etc. )

The Monza ( Blackline in the UK but with more colour choices ) & Milano were special editions with more spec, different alloys & two tone leather options.

Not sure exactly but I would think it would have 16"s & possibly Alfatex interior, also what engine has it ? Have you had a look at other '08 GTs on the web to see what spec they have

thanks,
David is that the actual 2008 Ireland list? great post thanks.

It would appear that the 1.8L was never available in Lusso trim.
Here's 2 links to cars with this "lusso" spec but have 16 inch and no leather.
Alfa Romeo GT 1.8 LUSSO 3DR - €15,500 - Used Cars on Carzone.ie - New & Used Cars in Ireland
Alfa Romeo GT 1.8 Lusso - €15,995 - Used Cars on Carzone.ie - New & Used Cars in Ireland

Are these really Lussos?

That's a price list from a local Dealer.

Perhaps there was a Lusso version earlier in the year, I don't know.

The GT in the advert above from Dublin is coming back as a Lusso on Cartell/Motorcheck & Mywheels but maybe the Veloces were put on the system as Lusso

There's a set of 18" Monza/Blackline rims for sale in the classifieds section at a good price-in Ireland too. Anything less than 17" wheels on the GT just doesn't look good IMHO.

Thanks for the replies.

In the end the 1.8 just didn't do it, lack of poke, and the poverty spec lusso doesn't do much for me either.
