Help required

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a 156 jtd. I've spotted one that looks like good value. It's a 1.9jtd 140 Sportwagon. Rang the guy about it. He says the turbo is "gone" on it. This was an over the phone to the garage diagnosis! He got a quote of €800 to replace the turbo. Even at that it would still be decent value. The guy seems pretty genuine and apart from the turbo problem all is good.
The car is near Kinnegad but I'm in Limerick so can anyone recommend a good mechanic/garage in the Kinnegad area that I could take it to to get it checked out.
Cheers,
roccoon

Try Don Baker on 0868234994. He lives in Johnstown Bridge which is a couple of miles away. He is a very good alfa mech.

That number seems to be out of service. Have you another number I can try?

Got through to him on a different number. But then when I got back to the seller the car had been sold
So the search continues. If anyone sees a nice 1.9jtd 156 about they might let me know. I see I'm not the only one on here looking for one. Finding the competition tough so far! Well priced ones are not hanging about for long.
