25 - 26 mpg. Not too bad. Depends on how you drive it really.
I get around 32 - 35 in mine, and its a 2.0.

On the 159:

22mpg to 26mpg daily commute... light traffic tbh.

30mpg on motorway @ 55mph
25mpg on motorway @ 75mph

......or so the trip computer says.

and I think I read somewhere on some website somewhere if you run the car on a motorway at say 90mph it plummets to 18/22mpg-ish depending on hills/flat etc.

My JTS does on average around 30-32 mpg. Longer runs I get up to around 38, drops to 32 if pushing along a motorway.

At 120/130kph !

And that's a calculated MPG, not what the OBC reads.

Did a real mpg test on car yesterday. So I filled her up to the cap yesterday morning at my local garage. I refilled her up to the cap again today using the exact same fuel nozzle

So I did 82.4 miles. And she used 17.2 litres.
That makes it 21.78 mpg.

That was country/city/dualcarrageway driving. The cars trip computer is a little more optimistic.

It really varies in my 156 1.8, I do an very economical drive to work, about 25miles each way (about 70mph for 10 miles then 50-60 the rest). I reguraly get 250+ miles from about £37 (at current fuel prices approx. 127p) Which is nearly 40MPG. On the the odd occasion that I have filled the tank full I've stretched it to 500. However, I had a couple of weeks off over christmas and did a lot of driving around town, I only was only getting half the miles I would normally get then.

I bought the 156 Ti 2 litre JTS and on the way back from Uk I found that the temp was hovering around 70 , so thermostat was diagnosed . It took a while to get the Thermostat replaced and I averaged 24.2 MPG. So I go away and get the thermostat replaced and guess what the MPG improved drastically to ... 24.9 MPG

It must be something to do with the shoes I wear
