I think that is a Q4 doesn't sound correct to be a DTM car cos they have a minty V6 engine in em. Looks class though.

Yes based on the Q4, it's a 155 GTAZ.
My brother got a pic of one in Japan a few years back when it pulled up outside his hotel!

Z just stands for Zagato, the design people.
The car is basically a tuned Q4 with ~220bhp and meatier wheel arches. As far as I know they were not a motorsport car and were sold to joe public in limited numbers.
The V6ti is the one that won the Btitish touring car champ (I think) and the DTM is an evolution that got out of hand imo.

Here's a vid that shows the different flavours

Very cool never heard of them now to be honest. I was thinking the Z meant Zagato but you can never be sure lol. Q4's are very cool.

The Alfa 155 GTA 2L Turbo ran in the CIVT Italian Superturismo Championship in Martini colours in 92, 155 V6 Ti ran in DTM and the 155 2L Twin Spark in the BTCC, which it won, and various other Touring Car championships. What an era for Alfa in Motorsport it was the time I got hooked on the 155, I believe that Alfa need to race the Giulietta Cloverleaf re-establish themselves again as a powerhouse of motorsport.

I dont see that happening even though it would be good to Alfa's racing again .

I'm putting this in the Black one

Think your right Dermo, Fiat Auto seem to be throwing their Motorsport budget at Abarth these days with the Grande Punto Rally car and the 500 Abarth race series, big mistake Alfa has far more potential.

It's because it is a "155 GTA". Not a "155 V6 Ti"

And the V6ti didn't compete in the BTCC, that was thi "155 2.0 TS (Silverstone)"

Google it and you might find some interesting stuff. Like this ‪Art of Racing Alfa Romeo 155 GTA , location Circuit Mugello‬‏ - YouTube
