That must be the first one in years, I remember it used to be on about 5 years ago, I can only imagine it would just be like a lot of car showrooms in one place but might be a good opportunity to poke around a few new Alfas

I'm in Dublin every week man. You should get onto me. I have no room at the moment to fit it in.

Alfa are participating, but it's €15 in BMW and Mercedes appear not to be. There's an awful lot about green energy and electric cars with something about a rally/performance display. Might be good if you're genuinely looking for a new car, but can't see how it would be worth it for a wander around tbh. Would wait and see if any offers start appear to clear tickets...

ah i remember the last motor show here & that was rubbish! Although Fiat & Alfa will be there i doubt it'll be worth the €15 fee & bother of getting to the RDS, might as well just go to a dealership, see the range & get some brochures!

The fact their they're devoting what seems like so much space to "green" energy/cars, & a rally/performance display makes me think actual cars seem to be a bit of an after thought!

Yeah I'm surprised there hasn't been much publicity regarding the event. You'd think it would be plastered all over the place. I mean I read the irish times every day and I haven't even seen it mentioned! Maybe they are keeping their powder dry... This was the best I could find Irish Motor Show 2011 | Facebook

Not too often as ye may have gathered. You make it to toys for big boys in cork that time? Pretty poor! Used to go to the car show in silversprings just to support it really.

Got tickets for the motor show yesterday on city deals.ie for E8. Well worth checking out for deals on everything. Free to sign up to and they do daily deals which you have to buy that day,but only if a minimum no. of people buy.Don't know if the motor show tickets will come up again.
