Help 147 Wipers, any advice?

Lads,

First time Alfa owner and really getting into loving the car

Recently got a 147 TS Lusso and am happy with her, but have got the dreaded wiper linkage problem, the plastic joint has broken at the drivers side with all the recent snow, and I need to get a replacement or repair to get her back on the road by the weekend - I took the linkage/motor off today. Divorce beckons if I don't..... (Every cloud, silver lining...!!)

I'm in Wicklow - Any advice gratefully received on where I can get the part or a decent repair ASAP?

Happy new year, great site!!

Partfinder is your friend

PartFinder.ie - Car Dismantlers, Car Breakers search for Ireland.

There's quite a few 147s listed, including 1 in Arklow

Ordered new part from EB spares in UK, all the breakers I tried in Wexford/Wicklow/Dublin were listed as having linkages in stock, but every one was broken. Decided if I'm buying the part new it's best to go for the modified part at the same time.

EB spares seem switched on, promising quick service and at a decent price compared with others.

Otherwise you can PM Jason here, known as Alfaownershop. I've got loads of stuff off him at a nice price and fast delivery.
