M50 road condition?

hi guys,

will be travelling up to Dublin Airport tomorrow night to collect my brother in law when his flight (hopefully) lands @ 10pm. Can anyone tell me how bad the conditions are on the M50, i'll literally be coming on @ M4!

Cheers!

Seems pretty bad at the moment especially between junction 7 (ie. the M4) and Blanchardstown. I'm not chancing it at all.

I was on it at 1pm today southbound between ballymun and blanch. It was slippy but driveable.
The off ramps are meant to be bad everywhere but the slip for the airport is not hilly. The main roads are not much better, anyways, and sure if u get stuck anywhere Ye have an extra set of hands to help push her!

seriously Toby I wouldnt worry about it, I drive around Dublin a lot during the day and all this weather causing roads to be impassable is a bit overexaggerated. The M50 is fine, fair enough you might have to do 60 but thats cause some ejit ahead is going far to slow. Am coming across that all the time so into the lightly snow covered overtaking lane I go and can comfortably do 80 safely. Also remember the motorways are in use so much its not long before the snow is blown off by constant traffic, just give yourself enough time to get there. In the last week or more I've been up and down the M7 M4 and M50 and they are fine in most places. Besides after today/tonight we may have seen the last of the snow. This afternoon around dublin it was very slushy so the snow is starting to disappear
