The owner of this car rang me three times to see if I was interested in a swap. Initally I said I was not, then thought maybe it would be interesting to have for a while. I rang back and arranged a meet. Never heard from him again.
The car looks decent enough. It is an English import however, with a slightly different spec to most cars here.

I went to see it this afternoon. Drove it and its pulling terribly to the left. The temp gauge barely moves at all, nowhere near 90 degrees.
Took it to my mechanic, and he said there could be all kinds that might be causing the pulling, not just a simple wheel alignment.
Needless to say, I walked away.

Tis a bit of a ghetto spec as well, you don't get many without full leather.

Ghetto spec but still has sunroof, weird choice. I'm actually just jealous because it has a functioning sunroof

English people can be mental what they spec on a car and what they don't spec.

Don't be jealous Gav, it's just something else to break or leak... at least yours is not functioning from a closed position...!

My spider died when I tried to start it the other day, suspect it's just the battery but, of course, you never know....

Will hopefully get it sorted today... Although with all the bleedin snow it might be awkward - only way to get at the battery properly is to put the roof down...

For me it would only make sense if you'd get a V6/V8/V12 . Or you can't afford the upkeeping cost of a 166. Otherwise, I wouldn't.

George the temp gauge is probably a faulty thermostat, same happened on the 155. Had to replace it.
