Upper or lower wishbones are a common issue. Also worth checking the anti-roll bar links too.
Nothing too pricey and fairly straight forward if you own a set of spanners.

Plenty guides on here if you search for wishbones or bushes.

yep that will be your wishbone bushes they are either worn or just not there you have to replace the whole wishbones as you cant buy the bushes seperately ,If you dont mind me asking how much did you pay for it and what year is it?

Squeaking noise coming from the "dashboard" is the top wishbones. Knocking noise coming from the "engine" is the anti roll bar bushes and anti roll bar links. Mine was the same.

Wishbones. OTTO (014000060) charge around €140. Talk to Gary.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply, it's a 00 model, paid only 950 euro for it. To be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, obviously.

Have a look through the thread "Alfa dealers and independents" and get it to a proper alfa mechanic who knows his job. If I remember correctly, the lads in Cork were saying good things about Lee's garage or something like that. Someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

Can't beat the Lee Garage just ask for Paul , top bloke and will not order anything that the car doesn't need and tell you what you need to do immediatly and what needs to be done in the near future
