120,000 kms Service

Hi all

as this is my first alfa 147, what is due on the 120,000 serivce? I need to get the rear pads done and a new fuse for the cig lighter (stupid plug in ipod thing blew the current one) but is it just oil, filters and plugs?

belts! when were the belts done? its normally every 60000kms so yours could be due. I would recommend a full service thats ALL fluids and filters and belts. A lot can be easily done yourself to minimise costs but let the pros do the belts

Page 236,237 here list the complete service schedule.

The timing belt should be done every 60,000km or 3 years whichever comes first ( you might also want to get a new variator & waterpump while the belt is off ), the sparkplugs should have been changed at 100,000km.

As said above check your service history to see what's been done, if there is no record of the belt been done get it done ASAP as some people were not aware the recommended change interval has been reduced from 120,000km or 5 years

Thanks lads! i should have mention the belt was changed around the 90,000kms mark so its good for another while!

will have a look at the link and see. she is running sweet as it is so cant wait to see what she is like after the service!!

car is booked in for a service today! would have done parts of it myself but i dont have the time or tools out here!!

its gonna be expensive, my friend was charged 220 for an oil change on her car! ROBBERY!!!!

just as well friday is pay day!

hahaha ya....................

service came to 325 for oil and fitlers and a few other bits and bobs. apparently i need to replace the discs and pads front and back (770e) and the spark plugs (300e)

hence why im shopping round on the net!!!
