Hi Lads,

I am badly stuck, very very badly stuck. I left my Alfa 166 Twinny in for a timing belt change and it had a sticking clutch pedal 3 weeks ago. The timing belt and service done no problem.
A new clutch master cylinder was fiited bUt the problem is i need the female joint that comes out of the master cylinder onto the metal tube which is fitted onto the inside of the firewall to the fliud resovoir. My mechanic cannot seem to get this female connector anywhere and my lovely 166 is just sitting there and I am f**king crackin up!!!!!!!!

Please help me,

Mick

Try contacting Don Baker on 0868234994. He is a very handy Alfa mech based a couple of miles from Enfield but always has hard to get bits or might source it for you. Alternatively try summerhill spares in Coolock, very good breakers 01 8673232. Also PM "theredx19" who should be able to help you aswell.

The master cyl has 2 connections. One is the threaded union to the slave cyl, the other is the plastic connector which takes fluid from the reservoir. If you had a new cyl fitted this plastic connector would have been supplied as part of the cylinder.
If it was missing, I'd check with whoever fitted or bought the part.
It is not supplied as a seperate part.
