Was dreading the insurance renewal..!

After my little "accident" and resulting claim, back in February. I was expecting my policy to, at least, double.
Got the renewal today, and its actually gone down to 563. It was 660 last year.

Policy is with Travellers, through 123.ie. I know there is a lot of negative press surrounding 123.ie, but they were really good after I had to make a claim. It was all settled, and paid out within a week.

Good times..

This is true. By next year I won't be obliged to be re-insured by them, so I'll get to shop around..

123.ie! Never ever again will i get a policy with them. 40 euro to temporarily change your car. My missus was put on my policy and there was no extra premium on the policy but they charged me 60 euro "administration fee" to put her on!

Then when a direct debit bounced they demanded the remainder of the poklicy bythe end of a 2 week period. I get payed montly and said that it would be 2 days later before i could pay and the murder i had pleading with t hem not to cancel my policy. Never again!

Exact same situation for me......I'll be steering clear of them next year. Back to Hibernian. I moved to save 75 euro or so, I've spent almost twice that in "Administration Fees" with them.

Try First IReland, I have been with them a few years now and they really look after you and there is no charge for changing cars, I've done it a few times. You can even change for just an hour or two which was handy as I had to go down to Kildare to pick up a car, they are very prompt and dont mess about

+1 on First Ireland Mark. I got a very good quote with them this year-about €100 than anywhere else. Very good policy benefits as well.
