Airport run...advice on M50..?

I have to get to airport this Friday morning. It usually takes one hour fifteen minutes from here. (Carlow-N9-N7-M50). I need to be there by 8:30am. What's the traffic like around that time? Any suggestions on how long I should allow for the journey?

Ta..!

I've never driven past that way, but on a Friday, traffic should be lighter than other days. I'd say you can leave at around 6:50-7 from home. If you're there earlier there's a few places around the airport where you can get a coffee or sambo.

M50 is never backed up anymore, come off at the naul ballymun/long term carpark exit, stay left, 1st exit on the roundabout past the nct centre turn right at the next set of lights, follow that road parallel to the runway, lights at the end of that road go left, follow the road approaching the next lights there is a slip road on the left into the airport through the new terminal 2, it's the way i always go, never hit traffic on that route.

Hi George, once you get to Newlands Cross before 7:45/8ish you should be grand, its the only place your gonna encounter a potential problem. Sometimes from there to the Mad Cow junction it can be a little bit slow but go up the centre lane all the way then just as you approach the North and South signs over the road you'll find you have plenty of room to duck in to the far left lane for North bound

I got the coffees at Dunboyne. Then, when Damo decided to get them. He "conveniently" waited till the cafe was closed.
Who's calling who tight...??
