Cork's latest Baby

Hi all,

Here are some Pics of Corks latest arrival. The little baby alfa.

After a couple of hundred of km's we are very happy with the Mito. In dynamic mode it goes like stink. I really wasn't expecting it to be so fast. You can corner seriously fast in it and all the electronic gubbins don't interfere too much. The multiair really is a peach. I wonder what a 1.8 one would be like

As for the criticisms about jarring suspension and vague steering. Well I find the suspension firm and really only jars at around 60kmph on rough roads. Otherwise people have commented on how comfortable and refined it is. I do not find the steering particularly vague, it is not hands on the wheel nuts direct like the 156 but not bad at all.

The only problem we have is a wierd tinkling sound coming from the dash, it sound like a cat bell. It is probably two pieces of metal clinking off each other but finding it will be the problem. Other than that all systems are go.

Good luck with Cork's latest little 'Rebel", hope you have endless miles of happy motoring.

Decals look smart, I don't normally like 'add ons' but they loook sharp.

The Mito looks great in the sun & I like the decal I'll be easy to spot you, not that there are many Mitos around Cork anyway.

The Multiair engine really seem to be the way forward for petrol engines at the moment If you mean the 235 BHP 1750Tbi in the Giulietta, it's not a Multiair engine ( yet )

I ordered it in special. Legged it down to white street car park as soon as I saw the blue sky on Sunday morning

Love the car, love the photos. Will keep an eye out for you on the road..

That Etna Black is amazing in our climate. On a dull day it still looks amazing, like a deep black.

Or a red 159/156 with a 18 month old baby in the back thumping the windows with his toys trying to get behind the wheel....it's true..

Paul, it's the car park on White Street / Sawmill Street. Around the corner from Lee Garage. Always loads of cool graffiti there.

That shine took me about 6 hours to achieve. The car was washed, clayed polished and sealed. The neighbours thought I was nuts. So did Lee when I asked them not to have the car cleaned.

Ah so you're a perfectionist as well?

Yeah, People not into cars just don't get it.
