Irish Car configurator

Hi Guys
As Alfa Ireland still don't have a car configurator for the Gulietta setup I decided to look at the UK's one. Had a look around and noticed the link.

Car Configurator Giulietta

change it to

http://www.alfaromeo.com/carconfigurator/ie/Giulietta/index.html

and what do you know, an Irish based page. A quick, conservative, choice and I was at €29,450.

Do you mean the seats or some other parts Gav as you can spec Black or Red leather seats in the Cloverleaf ( according to the brochure ) maybe not on the configurator though, I haven't tried

Yeah, the seats. In the configurator if you choose the TBi the cloverleaf spec is standard and you can't choose anything other than black leather...

Your choice of leather colour is also linked to your choice of paint colour, not all combinations are available e.g. You can't have Red Leather in an Alfa Red or 8C car.

Woven Natural Leather is only available on the Turismo & Lusso Trim, Sports Leather ( or Leather with "cannelloni" rolls as it's called in the brochure ) is available on the Lusso, Veloce & Cloverleaf.

Strange - can't pick the dark titanium finish wheels. Seen these on one in Sicily - and they look amazing on white car. Grrr...
Didn't go for Blue - cos if ain't Montecarlo - I'm not interested!!

According to the options list I have from the dealer they are an option on the Cloverleaf for €495

Alfa Giulietta Price list Grandons Sept 7th 10 Options List R 1024.jpg

The Configurator doesn't seem to be 100% accurate, also I don't think the prices listed include "Delivery & Related charges" neither do the prices list on the website BTW.

Yes Profondo Blue is a bit of a disappointment from previous Blue colours of the last few years such as Dijon, Misano, Altantico & Tornado. It's a pity Alfa seem to have omitted any standout colour on the Giulietta apart from the 8C option for €1750 Maybe they will introduce a new colour or 2 in a year or so as they do with most models.

Alfa-less :-(

I went the whole hog and came up with a package for a mere €40,775.

All I need now is a job to pay for it..........

Yeah he didn't like it but spent over half the article (and thats not an exaggeration) waffling about names and whatnot, then spent about 2 paragrahps talking about the car. Hard to take his opinion seriously when he can't be bothered writing a review of any real substance.

Besides, he's just a paradoy of himself now talking ****e.

Will reserve my opinion until I drive it
