For those of you in Dublin...

My Nephew's Nissan Skyline GTR (featured in this months Modified Motors) was taken from the carpark in the Green Isle hotel at around midnight Saturday, distintive looking car matt white, with matt black bonnet, rear wing and wheels.

Garage insurance, he'll get nothing.
He only brought it up to show it to a possible buyer.
Looks like they crashed it and kept driving until the engine gave out.
They then torched it.

At the end of the day its only a car, there's a lot worst **** going on out there!

Did the buyer view and know where the car was going to be kept that night?

No, was due to view at Japfest in Mondello on Sunday. The Greenisle Hotel would have been a target, Prodrift was on in Mondello Sat and Sunday and the Green Isle is Prodrift's designated hotel.
These scumbags knew there would be some nice machinery around.
Whats even more annoying is it was parked in the multi-story carpark but the barriers have been in the up position for the last two years! so no car is safe there.

No, far from very quiet car! Car was seen been driven away but the boys thought it was Darren.
Car should be back in Buttevant tomorrow so I'll see how bad it is. All I know was it was transported back to the pound on a truck with a Corsa on its roof.

Next time!!!! I hope not I dont know if anything was taken off it.
The other problem was the keys of his Mazda Cosmos (i think thats how its spelt) (a rare 4 pot rotor coupe) were also in the car, hopefully they are still there and still useable.

I've only strayed away from Alfa a couple of times..two Starions, a Porsche engined kit car, and a Fiat X19, oh there was also the five Imps and the two Avengers but they dont count as they were before I got into Alfa. Oh I forgot the Lotus but that is closly related to the earlier Alfas (things falling off ect)
