Who wants to go to Top Gear live for free

Right I have been approached by Top Gear live as they want Alfa's for their show and for their dream ride part of the show(the dream rides is for charity and you will be taking people form the public who give you a donation to charity for the spin you'd have to give the car a bit of a drive on so if ye don't like driving the car hard I don't think that would be for ye all within speed limits clearly). Now I can only give them pics and the spec of the cars that we have to offer them and they will decide on who is in and who is not. Ye will need to be there for the 3 days of the show in September. They will give you free passes for the show and I assume who you need to come along with ye. They also have a parade lap of the show and they have a sprint lap against the clock so let me know to whichever ye are interested in and I can forward that too.

So what I need is your pics of the car preferably clean and with a bits and pieces about yourself and I will e-mail all the people interested. So they want a good range of cars be it new or old they just want different types of cars.

Damien.

If they don't mind tractors - count me in.
+1 on the - what bits and pieces?
35(soon to be 36) alfa-nut who is on his 3rd alfa! That do

As for pics - plenty on my picasa album
Picasa Web Albums - RikD - Clean Brera

Might have to rush that remap....

EDIT - oh and what exactly is provided? Do I get 2 tickets in?
What about washing car before hand, etc?
I know it's charity and I'll do my part - but as I'd be coming up from Limerick and prepared to pay for my own hotel, I'd assume the car would need washing every day, and fuel - particularly if putting right boot down (and yes, even a tractor can get through the thick stuff)

Right lads the dream ride thing is only for cars that they feel are "special" enough for it. Ye don't pay at all for the rides other than the fuel costs etc. And as I said it's only them who decide. And they want clean and mint cars for the display at the car show I will post up the e-mail when I turn on my work laptop there in a while as I left it in my van. There will be only 8 cars picked so if ye aren't the ones picked don't blame me I can only forward on the people interested in it lads. Top Gear are the ones who are picking who and what cars are left into the show.

Just a bit of info about yourselfs how long ye have had the car etc.

Can you explain more on this?
Exactly what sort of "ride" would I be receiving?
If it's what I think it is - then I can pay fuel costs ::cough

Seriously though - am in...

"Have the car since Sep'08 when I imported from Engerland. 2k on the clock and she was mint. Love it to bits. 3rd Alfa. Always wanted one and in 2004 I changed job and got a 156 1.8 Lusso as company car - was smitten. Bought the wife a 146 1.4TS 6months later which I took over in 2007 when I had to return the 156. In 2008 I was looking down the long chain of new cars on the scene - Beemer, and others, but looking to UK I found what my heart wanted - a Brera. 2.4 'cos it's best engine in the lot. Didn't want an Opel (vauxhaull for the TG guys) engine. Every day brings a smile to my face when I floor that right-most peddle and open her up. It's heavy, the handling isn't as good as a beemer - but it sure looks better, and I don't feel a complete dick in a kraut-mobile like all the other dicks around the place."

narration stylised for TG - no offence intended. You feel offended then please go somewhere else - I just don't care

Oh yeah forgot about that. Geez that would be rough. Imagine Hammond or Captain Slow saying "sorry mate, you're not in 'cause the Stig said you like ducks". How weird would that be?

Exterior: Africa grey, black roof, fully wetsanded to reduce orange peel, 17" selespeeds, I have two bootlids, onw with and one without a BFOW
