You're best bet may be pistonheads, they are very rare over here, only 42 Irish cars registered apparently.
Alfa Romeo 166s for Sale
and probably rarest of the rare a 3L and 3.2L facelift
Veloces of London : ALFA ROMEO 166 3.0 V6 24V SPORTRONIC LUSSO 4DR AUTO

Don't buy a car from Veloces in London-they buy up private sales (not trade-ins) and then mark them up. I've dealt with them before and wouldn't trust them based on my experience.

Look privately yourself in the UK, but they are rare-I have heard that Veloces have been buying up anything that is on sale.

I kinda am ya, its only a 2.0 though so not what your looking for, and clean would be pushing it aswell

It is cheap(ish) though.

I bought the Ti from them and you might pay a bit more but I would buy from them again . I had only one key and rang them thinking i'd be swinging for a second key , but a week later they sent me a brand new key .

There is a silver 166 in SDR auto's for sale which is where I bought mine .

thanks for all the help.

Bought a 166 2.0TS today. Car known to Don B and Gerry C so reasonable comfort level with it....

Now my 156 v6 is for sale, spec as follows:

130k miles
Timing belt done at 121miles
Nct til 3/11
Six months tax left
Leather alfa interior
6CD with hidden 100W blaupunct amp
silver
Full TI-autos service history (all docs, receipts, manual and brochure)

Bad bits:
- rear passenger window cable is broken
- rear driver side brake calliper is sticky (and squaels for time to time)
- front fogs lights blown

Cars is still very tight and very fast....

€1250 ovno

Thanks, a few little odds and ends to sort out...
