Alfa stereo head unit

Hi guys,

I just picked up a 2005 156 ti but the stereo is knackered. wondering am i better to replace this with a standard alfa stereo (if so how much will this cost and any ideas where to pick one up) or if anyone has ideas on somthing a little more exotic. Dont really want to spend more than 300 though

Damo or Dermo might be able to sort you out with a nice Alpine. I saw it fitted in Dermo's and it looked good.

I'm selling a Pioneer DVD player. It won't fit in the 166. Its this one AVH-P5700DVD - Pioneer Product Archive I paid €1300 for it. I'm looking for €300 for it.. Got a bluetooth add on for it and a steering wheel remote as well. Got to be a bargain, poor thing is just sitting there..!

pendragonfalls - Thenks for the offer. not really lookig for tv though. just as long as it has bluetooth for calls and streaming musid and Ipod connectivity that should do.

If the OP has a 2005 car, I'd say he has steering wheel controls and so will want to keep them (I would anyway).

Sony's aren't great in this respect, well not as far as I know. From all I've read, Alpine is the way to go. I have used an aftermarket Blaupunkt and it wasn't great at all.

CCOVICH thanks for the info. yes if i can i would like to keep the controls so the alpine will allow me to use the stearing wheel control? That is great. Any ideas what models or is this standard with the alpine head units?
