Brakes squeaking under light braking

Howdy all.
Have noticed over the last two weeks that under light braking I am getting a squeaking from the front, new pads were put into the car when I bought 6 months ago, is it copper grease time??

Pete.

Pete - I have this now and again with my 159 at slow speeds. I asked the dealership when I got my service done and they just said it was a known issue with the 159s, particularly when going slowly. Didn't suggest anything to do about it, but that could just be the garage not wanting to get involved... It does seem to work itself out after a while, try going on a decent fast run and use the brakes hard a few times.

I used to get squeaking from the new discs and pads on the GT and it still happens from time-to-time.

Brake later and harder

(Sorry no idea on a solution or even if one is required)

A long spell of dry weather can make your brakes and suspension squeak, as dust collects on the rubbers (suspension) and discs (brakes). Go through a carwash and see if the squeaking stops.

Also, give the breaks a bit of a workout on an empty road - no hooliganism needed, just brake heavily from 100km/h to 50 a few times.
