trading a 147 for a 156

Thinking about trading my 147 in for a 156, as i need 4 doors they are both 2004 heres the car in question, its done 70k compared to my 35k apart from that it is in excellent shape -my car plus 1k

timing belt changed at 56k , 2 year nct full service history etc, any recomondations

you pay 1k? that sounds a lot but then you are dealing with a garage.

35k miles on your car sounds very low and a good selling point.

what spec are both the cars?

what date was the 56k timing belt done on the 156.

if i were you i would be looking to sell my car privately and buy another privately, they look approximately the same value to me in the UK, i cannot comment for ireland.

Bit of a poverty spec 156 by the looks of it. I do like the F/L models though and the colour is good. What engine is in the 156?

The 156 is a lusso 1.6l. Not sure when exactly the belt was changed the service history just says 56k, the trouble selling privately esspecialy in this market is youll be waiting quite a whle to sell

my brothers wife had one exactly like that with the same engine and wasnt long keeping it, they are a bit short on power and the onboard computer gave her a lot of problems. As Ciaran said those facelft models are nice but cmon mate, go for the Ti version
If you need a quick sale go for a trade in otherwise try selling privately

hi damien its a 04 1.6 ts 3 door 34k timing belt done at 30k well kept washed and waxed once a month. ive put so much money into it id be looking for a least 5 and half to 6k for it.
