Don't do a DIY job becuase you will only fail. There's a lad called tinttech in dublin google it and you'll get his number. He is very good.

I used Autoflair last week and they were spot on. Talk to Tony and he will sort you out. I paid €200+vat for the SW form the b-pillar back so 5 windows. Thats more than I got quoted from another company but I cant fault the job and its worth paying to get it done right. In the past I have used tint-it and was happy with the job too.

I've been in to Vision Tint in Walkinstown and got pricing. Got quoted about 250 cash for the full car. This was before the NCT regs came in. Better to get a pro to do it

JCL, what %VLT tint did you get on the SW? Any pics?

I will get some pics when it stops raining and I'm not driving. I went for 20%vlt as it only on the back windows and its more about sun block on minime than stylismo. The back window is 35%vlt as sun is less of a problem at the back and its that bit easier to see out of.

AFAIK, you are not allowed to have any tint on the front windows + windscreen.

Correct, as of 1st April 2010. Windscreen and front passenger windows must let in not less than 65% light.
