Now actually the best Alfa meet ever the 10th and 11th of July

Right lads this will be brilliant if we get the numbers. Where we are going need everyone to come along I am hoping for 20 or so cars if we can manage it. Down in Killarney again this time staying in the Killarney Heights hotel as it's cheap and in a great location to get to every where with a nice bar and restaurant. And massive carpark.

What I was hoping to do was to get as many 166's as we can possibly get there. Seen as it started today inadvertanly lol. Where will be going will be to the healys pass on the Sunday and go for a leisurely drive round there. And on the Saturday I am thinking of going to tralee etc and then back to Killarney for a meal etc. The more numbers I can get confirmed for this the earlier I can book it and try and get a deal going with the Hotel for a meal included for all of us in the hotel for the night and it will help keep the costs down for everyone involved. Hopefully by then I'll have a bloodly car found haha.

Add your name to the list:

1. Damien_C
2. Dermo

Yes https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/repub...-gt-900-a.html & https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/repub...ebrations.html

I love it when a plan comes together

Pity it's not finishing in Killarney on the Friday though & restarting from there on the Saturday. Still it means an extra run over The Healy Pass on the Friday

Edit:

Why are ye going to Tralee on the sunday?

It's not a great drive to be honest, fairly boring.

I'd recommend heading back to Dingle instead, much nicer (but longer) and more scenic and twistier roads.

I thought it was a decent enough drive to be honest and the fact there would be a decent place to stop for munch. I was thinking Dingle might be too far etc.

About an hour - 70 mins drive to Dingle (80 minutes plus in tourist season).

Could also drive to Killorglin and Glenbeigh (and Rossbeigh beach).

Anyway, can all be decided later on.

Lads just did a quick check and there is no availability for that hotel on the sat/sun. Any other recommendations?

The Killarney Court (where ye stayed before) is always a possibility, it's a decent functional hotel. July/August is peak tourist season in Killarney.
