Kmcb works in Donohoes Fiat on the Kylemore and they are really good for getting parts, he is in the business years himself.

This part is expensive at 37.57 plus VAT. However on saying that a wheel arch trim for a Mitubishi Pajero costs in excess of 450 Euro plus VAT. My opinion on people referring to Main Dealers as 'stealers' is well documented, it does not help when requiring discount.

When using the term 'stealers' i use it mainly as thats what everyone refers to them as, colloquial evolution of a term if you will.
One dealer charged me 13 for a litre of oil, the other 25, identical oils no less. This is one of many examples of why dealers have gotten a name.

When did I ask for a discount? I'm willing to pay full price, once i cant get it off joe bloggs down the road for 80 cheaper.

Hi Paddy, your right to a point but the problem is its tarnishing them all with the same brush. And that brings those such as Donohoes who do care about the customer down.
We have all been there and I can name Alfa/Fiat dealers who are rubbish, but thats the advantage of a forum like this because it seperates the Dellboy Trotters from the Kevin MacBrides.
Donohoes have gotten me stuff before and helped out big time when I needed a sump and no other dealer/breaker could find one. Kevin will sort you out if your stuck.

I manage a pub, and if i got offended everytime someone called me a hungry robbing f?!ker i'd have no customers,

I understand the term is not fair on all main dealers, but obviously donoghoes customers know they are decent, thats why they're still there when others are falling by the day. Survival of the fittest.

If I offended you kmacb, I apologise.
But you have offended me by suggesting the only reason I contacted you was for a discount.

No offence taken or meant. I normally give discount anyway to forum members. If you want the part just give me the go-ahead. Remember that it will have to be painted as they come primed (grey colour).
