Why Alfa??

Have you ever thought what it is that attracts you to Alfa?
For me it has to be their character, exclusivity (not that common) looks (I love my f/l 166) price (you can get a lot of car for the money)....what else?

Exactly my thoughts, plus the sound of their unique engines, twinneys, boxers even the multiair are are revolutionary and sound fantastic.

Why ?

- Because everyone that hears "I own an Alfa Romeo" is deeply impressed.
- Their looks
- Despite lots of people saying I did the wrong choice, I'm F£cking HAPPY, GET USED TO IT !!
- She is NEVER boring, everytime I take a look at that steering wheel and see that badge it reminds me why I bought it.

Well i've been in an Alfa since 1999. They have style , Cant really think of any car that Alfa built that is not pleasing to the eye ( except maybe the F/L 166 ) and they never dissappoint. Most of the "non" Alfa heads seem to think all Alfa's do is break down etc etc etc... Then again they drive Toylets (talk about giving up on life !) I have driven a fair few other non Alfa's in my time and nothing bings a smile to my face more than driving mine or any Alfa for that matter (except for the F/L 166 !!!!!!)

I would go on ( then again maybe i have already !)

Only messing K

Run away with my wife kill my child but dont touch my car

CYCLISTS! THEY PAY NOTHING I TELL YA NOTHING
FRANKLY i DON'T GIVE A DAMN
IF THE ABS LIGHT IS ON ITS TOO LATE !
100% OF NON SMOKERS DIE TOO

Think of alfa like a mental ex girlfriend, all your mates want her, your mother hates her, she makes other girls jealous, she costs you a fortune, gives you loads of trouble...
But she's a savage in the sack!

why Alfa? good question! Simple though, i drive an Alfa cause she's gorgeous, she sounds absolutley stunning, goes like sh*t off a shovel, & (with regards the 166) she's a rare beast. And finally i don't give a monkeys that basically everyone i talk to about owning one thinks i'm mad, because i know that of the Alfas I've owned, & the Italian cars in specific, they've all been bullet proof.
But, & here is the really interesting bit, even if they cost me a fortune in constant repairs, i'd still buy one!

Perhaps the question should be: "Why would you not drive an Alfa"

Cause 2 years later, I still can't walk away from the car without looking back to admire its sleek front end...

Cause all the dials face you in the drivers seat. In Italian.

Cause that V6 gives a rush everytime you put the foot down. Even for just 100m in Dublin traffic.

Paddy - I think you hit the nail on the head though

ooh yes they certainly are!
For me it's the way it makes you smile as you press the start button, it's like opening a present that you asked for:- you know whats inside but you're still excited!! does that make sense ??
