Have waved too often at 147/156/159 drivers in limerick to be met with nothing

Is that the champagne/silvery one (07 LK I think)? Never saluts or even looks at my car - fecker :P
There's also a wine (06-LS) going around. Oldish guy driving it, again not a dicky!
I see the Black Brera is now up for sale, and the GTV on the dock road is gone. Just after he put some proper teledials on her too.

See plenty of Red/Silver/Blue 156s. Have flyered most - particularly the nice Blue (precursor to montecarlo blue - can't remember the name) 156 TI

Would love to know whos driving the gorgeous 05 147 (looks like monte carlo blue) parked up by the train station. It's immaculate!!! Always parked there so wonder if it ever gets driven though...

So - there's quite a few of us, but only a very small selection on here.

EDIT - meant to add.. If you wanna meet up, I'd be on for it. Somewhere we could get a few nice piccies would be good. Might force me to clean the car (been very lazy of late with all the road works).

There maybe a mini meet in cork next weekend if there is enough interest. Some 159's are rep mobiles so they don't even know what they are in lol.

Alfa 1.8 TS

Chilling Dooradoyle Alfa's

Hi,

I live in Dooradoyle at the minute (156 Sportivo, red with personal plate and BFO rear spoiler)
You may have seen it. I cant help but notice other Italian cars!

I see the 06-LS 159 a lot, it belongs to someone working in the Regional Hospital.
The slivery 07-LK one is always around Dooradoyle also.
I dont think either are being driven by big Alfa fans so forget the Alfa-Wave.

There's a guy working in McDonalds at the Crescent and he has a blue 156 which he parks in the middle of 2 spaces to avoid people opening their doors onto his.

The GTV that used to be on the Dock Rd. was stopped on the Condell Rd. one evening, I stopped to help but nobody was with it and I havent see it outside the house since, pity as it was a very nice example, way better looking than the red soft top GTV off Fr. Russel Rd by Spar.

Yes, we should meet up...

Garage
There was an Alfa main dealer in Laois, they probably reserved plates for the Alfas, the Cork dealers did the same for years.

There's a lovely silver alfa spider in the car park of my apartments down by the strand, doesn't seem to move that often though.

I remember that car
Was wondering where it had dissapeared to. Quite a few alfas gone now. And then there are a few new ones - mostly 147s driven by non-waving girlies (both female and male :P)

I can tell you after "Met a very nice chap today" that it wasn't me!

Only joking, Im always at that Maxol I usually walk though, it wasn't me but nearly the only time I'll start a conversion with a stranger is when they're an Alfa fan.

Next 156/159 I see there im going to say hello! Will prob get a funny look...

[QUOTE What is it with the laois reg and 159 [/QUOTE]

Lismard Motors in Portlaoise is probably why, it was a great dealer, well priced and staff that gave a ***** when you pulled up in your Alfa

Im looking for a facelift 156 too, probably hold out or go to UK for a Ti model, my current 2001 156 has only 76K and only work done apart from belts, wear & tear maintenance was a near side shock and a new MAF and upper wishbone due soon. I give her a once over every other week so problems dont build up.
