Very nice.... Only in Bologne tho?? If I see them in Milan in June, I'll get a crate and open a bidding war back here, he he! Second thoughts a crate is unlikely to last the 3 days back home - 2 ferries involved

Found it listed on a czech site for 50 a bottle
Does sound nice tho....

A huge great northern Italian wine with youth, intensity and complexity on its side. It has an incredibly deep colour and nose of blackberries, raspberries and spice overlaid with integrated vanila oak. Wonderful big stuff. This is the philosophy to which Monferato Rosso Alfa Romeo aspires, wishing to be appreciated for its overall characteristics without necessarily having the person tasting it try to breack it down into its basic features, which is due to the blending of two types of grape. Moreover, it gives one the chance to evaluate every aspect of the noble harmony that Barbera blended with Cabernet is capable of Bringing forth.

Gastronomic suggestions: This rare wine, for tasting should be served with those dishes than enable it to express it self superbly.
