Dibs on a go if you do get one. you'd probably find it economical (almost) given that you wouldnt have to rag the nuts off it the whole time. How much was the quote?

Gaz man I know I have driven em and I want them but I was adding it up there and it was coming in at about 8k on the road to get it all right.

The quote was 2.3k for insurance man.

No bother Frank you can have a burn off it. They are spectacular car imo. Having driven a few of them.

So now you just need Dermot to sell the 146 for you so you'll be forced into getting one

I just got my insurance renewal yesterday & it's gone up 130

I bet that's what Dermot thought about his Ti before you sold it
Still a fair chunk of cash to have to spend on insurance though but a V6 was never going to be cheap anyway in Ireland Tax about 1300 on the 3Ltr ?

Ya your looking at that for the tax it's big money. Having thinking about it again I may try and savea bit more cash and get the car straight. The best thing is being on this site. Can lash up a thread looking for one and bounf to find a minter of a one at the right price.

It is dave you wouldn't want a GTV V6 in your house I'm trying to see if I can convince the parents for another car outside the door then there would be 6 cars there lol.

I know ya, I found one in Ireland for 1500 euro but I dunno it's a bit old and I'd like a 2000 reg one with the aero kit. I know I don't ask for much lol

No thanks

Anyway the storage fees would be more than the tax & insurance

what about registering a business in the UK and getting a UK reg company car? Surely Irish people have relatives there who wouldn't mind using their address to register "D&D Consulting".

Trust me I looked into this before ! It's actually illegal for an Irish citizen living in the state to drive a foreign registered car !!!

hmm, I'm not an Irish citizen... could you PM me what you found when you looked into it? I pay 1300 per year for what? surely it's not for the roads, I pay tax, vat and duty in the price of the petrol for that.
