Welcome-would be great to have a 75 at the next meet.

You moved quick on that 156 (I saw the thread on Octane).

Wow a 75, congrats! Pity you missed a really good meet today, we would have been very close to have a full compliment of "the 90's Alfa's". Welcome along Lenny, stick a few pics up of the motors

would have been nice to get out to a meet today, but i was off buying another alfa

Ill get some pictures up - dont have many.

The 75 is a 1990 tspark with 91k miles, (and a good deal of history to back this up)
engine is very good and pulls strong
konis all round, uprated brakes, uprated bushings on the de dionand watts linkage, fully waxoyled, and lots of preventative work done before I got it.

I have it 18 months, have done nearly 10 k, without any problems.

The paint laquer is peeling however, so it would need a respray but i love it.

Plans for the future (when I get back to work) include full rsr suspension, re trim of leather interior, full respray, rebuilt transaxle with uprated synchros, few other jobs as i find them, and get it mint!!

the 156 i picked up today, it needs a flexi exhaust and two front tyres. apart from that it seems to be driving spot on, full leather interior, silver, teledials and a little rear spoiler. Ill try and get some pictures of both up at some stage.

anyway, ill definately try to get to the next meet. I live close to fluffyduff, so might be able to go in convoy

You'll never keep up with him-that 1.3 () nearly broke the dyno yesterday!

couple of pics of the 75 on track.

i have since changed the 14 inch revolution wheels to 16 inch aez wheels with lower profile tyres, which i think really suit the car.

When did you track the 75 Lenny ?? One of the octane days I missed I guess.. I'll give you a shout about a demo of the rsr handling kit & quick shift mods.

Hi Lenny and fair play on the 75, the last of the rear wheel drive Alfa's, and a drift machine I'm led to believe

Welcome Lenny.

The 156 looks to be in tip top shape. Like the skirting and alloys. Best of luck with it.

cheers for the comments lads!!

its nice to see that the 75 is appreciated. as i said i am never selling it. Im currently using the 156 as my daily driver, and enquiring about classic insurance for the 75. Have a few jobs to do with it but nothing major! Although I would love a 75 IMSA rep!

wouldnt mind seeing the track 155.

Airbag Question

Hey fellow Drogheda Alfa owners!

I've a black '01 156 which I love but need to get my airbag light reset. Can you recommend anyone in the area that might do it at a good price?

Cheers,

-Keith

I've no idea who could clear the fault code, none of my alfa have ecu's
At a push, maybe give a&j pipers a shout or aes in mell. He cleared some faults on the Leon a while back. Hope you get sorted!

Hey guys,

Thanks a million for the advice - called the people on Mell and they can run a rest and hopefully reset it for E25.

Cheers,

-Keith

AXA told me that for current customers they'll accept 20 years old for classic insurance but for new clients it's 25 years...

I believe you have to have a modern car on policy to avail of the classic one, but they offered it to me on the 33 if I was going to have the leon with them.
