If we could get him down to 100 it would be great in the Irish Gumball Rally

Scally rally? Excuse my ignorance

Edit: Ignorance solved. I googled it. It looks class. Another trip on the Healy pass too

I'm in Killarney, so I know the road well, its a great driving road. It's fantastic for a blast, especially when there are no tourists and buses around!

Great place for a drive, we did it at the right time of year as well, we'd still be getting home now if we did it in the summer!

I keep forgetting what such a great turnout we had, it would be great to get that sort of number again in the summer maybe for a coastal run or something

Thats quite a rare beast that 164

There was a program on BBC recently, the chef that hosts saturday Kitchen (James Martin) entered his extremely rare 1948 Maserati into the Mille Miglia and it just looks amazing thing to do. Would be well worth doing

Yeah-I would gladly go for a share of a car, but would need somewhere to keep it though. Wouldn't mind having a go at a project at some stage.

Big time Ciarán but really you need the space, in other words a house with a garage

Indeed. Or a vacant shed that some farmer isn't using and will rent for peanuts. It might exist....

I've been contemplating asking this question for a while, does anyone want to get a cheap old Alfa between us to repair like this Sprint? 1983 Alfa-Romeo Sprint Green Cloverleaf For Sale - Octane.ie . Rather than rely on someone else to save these relics we can share the cost amongst us? Something to debate tomorrow night perhaps??

Sounds good Gav. I'd definitely be up for it-property to store the car and work in is the biggest issue IMHO (aside from not having a scooby do about mechanical, electrical or bodywork). I did some looking on Gumtree recently and there are nearly more 'wanted' than 'available' ads.
