Alfa-less :-(

I emailed Leaseplan about that 159, here are a few pics they sent me back and its service history.

Thoughts?

New clutch after less than 60,000km and just over 2 years on the road?
Service interval has been stretched IMHO.
From the service history, looks like a somewhat abused repmobile (even though the mileage is quite low....).

Unless you got this for a good price, I think I'd stay away. But, it does have a new enough clutch. Pkus, no belt to worry about!
It's a nice colour though.

You make them an offer-car goes to highest bidder. Cars on their website have prices, the stock they send out on their list doesn't.

P.S. I don't work for LeasePlan and have no connection with them other than being a corporate customer. I just posted this here as they rarely have Alfas, it may not be advertised elsewhere, and you may get a good deal (I must stress the 'may'!).

Hey, I'd never buy a rep mobile with me being one I won't mention how much my van is overdue a service by.

OK cool CCOVICH, in fact the fact that they are open to offers seems to give the impression they are keen to shift it..so of i turn up with €7500 cold cash in the back pocket & give it the old tyre kick treatment & some hum'n & haw'n, might I get a bargain?

You might-I have to confess that I don't know of anyone who has gone to a viewing. I have to say though that €7,500 might be a bit optimistic, but, if you don't ask you don't get! All bids must be in by Monday AFAIK.

Do you know where to go? It's behind Bewleys and they are open from 10-1 on Saturday.

They sent another mail today so are keen to shift stock (who isn't). I had planned to go and have a look/drive at the 159 myself just for the hell of it, but something else Alfa related came up.....

All the best if you do go for it

Cowboys Ted, they're a bunch of cowboys!
