You can buy a brand new one from Alfa for about 5-600 euro.

Summerhill spares in Coolock Dublin have broken a 155 recently so give them a shout on 018673232. I know because I got the front left shock off them for €30......... and its a Koni

My interpretation of a bottom end could be a 'half-engine', block, crank, rods, pistons and sump. A crank is about 600 plus VAT. It was only a query.
PS I dont work for Fiat

If you're getting a second hand short block from an engine that has a mangled head, then I'd recommend fitting a new set of big end shells and the timing belt tensioner and idler before installing in the car.
