I just got back mine from a place in Bray aswell, can't imagine there is more than one. I will post pics tomorrow, they look superb to be fair. A bit pricey tho

In Collins Engineering in the industrial estate mentioned above. I got a total refurb on all wheels, this included taking dents and buckles out of all of them and a respray aswell.

I got new tyres delivered there aswell from camskill.co.uk and they charged €70 just to balance and fit the tyres on, they didn't even put them on for me, I spent Friday night with a wrench in hand fitting them. A bit steep but I was too lazy to be searching around for the sake of a few quid

Re: Alloy refurbishing

I have seen Dial a Dent in Sandyford's work (alloy refurb)-very impressive and you get the car back within the day as far as I know.

There are also a number of mobile operators-can't say I have ever seen their work, but could be convenient as the work is done then and there. Google will give you some results. I saw a van from this crowd on the M50 last week.

There is also a place outside Naas (Carfit) that offers refurb services-but I think they outsource the work and you would be without the wheels for a few days.

I used Collins before for repair work but not for refurb.

€300-€400 for a full set is about right-you should pay a bit less if the damage to some wheels is slight.

In short, there are loads of options out there, whether they are any good or not is another matter.

If you get some work done, pleae post feedback/pics cos I will be looking myself at some stage....

Cowboys Ted, they're a bunch of cowboys!

Not impressed with the job they did, face of wheel looks ok but the spokes were left very rough, also can see one or two runs in the paint, they welded a crack charged 80 for that, and 50 for the refurb, i wouldn't use them again.
