Joint meet?

Just wondered if any AOC members would be interested in a joint meet with the Irish Escort Club?

It was mentioned on their site and i thought both Alfa owners and the Escort lads would get on well as most arent full of attitude like some manufacturer fans or other forums for that matter.

Of course me owning one of both has something to do with it

Re: Joint meet?

I have a very busy summer ahead of me between going to rallys, road races and track days but I'd love to make this too, my 156 will be "different" when I'm finished with it and I want to show it off . Mk1/2 escorts are amazing cars.

The first one is at watergrasshill Co Cork but they're bound to be doing more closer to you.

Re: Joint meet?

Damien_C is the regional rep, just drop him a pm. I'm sure he'll find this thread anyway. You haven't organised this as an alfaowner.com meet (yet) so I don't think he'll give you any bother for not contacting him first

Re: Joint meet?

I can't see any reason why Damien would object but if you send him a PM he'll set it up as an event thread with an RSVP

That would be good to have a joint meet with another Club

Good luck lads I hope it comes off

Next one I am thinking will be some Karting.

And it may help if we get more people and from other clubs would be a laugh I think.

Karting, I'd be on for that.

Kiltorgan outside Waterford is suppose to be very good

Re: Joint meet?

That was where I was thinking of going. Been there and it's a savage track. Great corners and size way way better than watergrasshill.

It's just past Mullinavat.

Re: Joint meet?

If we are meeting up with the escort boys I will try and get my Autovaz 2107 up and running for that one as it will blend in being rwd and having some rallying heritage....

Re: Joint meet?

Well, the Escort lads had a great night at Watergrasshill, 17 of them did a grand prix too. Hope i can make the next one, either with AOC or IEC.

Still waiting to see if more of them are up for AOC joining them.
