Handsfree fitters?

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for places where I can get a handsfree unit fitted to my GT?

Ive seen a few websites where they will come out to you and fit it at home or work - anyone used these and have any good/bad feedback?

Thanks for your help,

I used JDM in Bray and was happy with the service.

My uncle is the best in the country. He has the cert to prove it. He can supply and fit any kit you need.

Thanks lads - roughly what price are we talking? Ive seen pictures of the Parrot CK3100 set-up on here that look great so Id be thinking of getting that done.

JC80, I got the CK3100 fitted into the ashtray as shown on here. Got a guy called OMAR from AllFitAuto 087 2285900 to fit mine. I think it was about €220 all in supply & fitted. The ashtray door closes so the unit is totally hidden. Nothing on the dash.

He was very clean & professional and it took about 40 min and he came out to me at work. He said he also goes to Sth Side Dublin

Here's a pic of mine installed. Its almost a perfect fit. At least you have the knowledge in knowing that he has done one already here on a GT for a very fussy customer

I didn't get a carkit Tom-it was stereo related-but they were pretty good at that and are used by our fleet company to do all their handsfree work. I have implemented a spending freeze on the Alfa for the moment.

My uncle is based in Cork but can travel anywere and can fit the Ck100 anywhere you want. Parrot have a great new kit that intergrates any mp3 player, usb player etc. Give me a price how much you are willing to spend and we'll sort something.

Re: Handsfree fitters?

Damien, I think these new ones are bigger than the 3100 so they won't fit in the GT ashtray. I wouldn't mind getting one fitted in my missus car though.
She has a nokia kit but the newer phones don't fit on the cradle any more so its become useless. All the wiring is there from the cradle to the head unit but it probably doesn't make a difference.

Re: Handsfree fitters?

Can get you a nokia bluetooth kit that will charge the phone for 120 euro fitted.

The new parrot kit is actually smaller than the older 3100 as I have seen it. It a tiny remote control that can be mounted anywhere you like.
