Mats for a new GT

Hi all,

I posted this in the accessories forum but thought someone in here might be able to help with any local sources. Ive just imported a GT from England (very helpfully found through the forum ) and am looking to get a set of mats for it.

Anyone have any recommendations as to good quality mats? Or where I might be able to get them round Dublin rather than from the web?

Thanks,

The ones you get here are crap.....unless you get the extra thick ones. The set that cam in mine are fantastic, about 30mm thick, nice big carpet pile on them.

You should have dropped into a dealer in the UK when you were over. You'd definitely have saved on them if you buy there than here

Ran into similar problem with the Brera when I brought it over
Got mine from Cyberspares Ltd - Car Mats - Home Page
Worked out pretty well.
Don't mention the GT - but maybe one of 147/156 might do the GT? Others can comment

Mine are Alfa original, but I think for the GT there are 2 types....

go for the thick pile ones....definitely worth it...

The GT mats are not the same as those used in the 147 or 156. That's not to say that you need GT mats, but they are worth getting IMHO.

What colour/year/model is your GT? Where are you usually on the road?

Ciaran, did you get yourself mats in the end? I remember you asking me that time I was in Poole to pick you up a set but never got back to me about it

ok well let me know. Our head office backs onto that dealership so I could get one of the lads to call in and pick them up and possibly get them shipped for free, depending on how nice I am to them
