Re: All Ireland Alfa Meet Healys Pass 1/2/2009

Sorry lads, won't be able to attend this one. Had a rough few weeks with my mother dying suddenly in Cork just before Xmas, so have a lot to sort out in the next month or so. Enjoy the day and I hope to catch up with you all at the next meet.

Not being smart but I don't know.
Currently it looks like a 323f... (with new tyres )

Unfortunately it's not my car so..... I will see if I can pick up some small little run around while the alfa is being sorted.

Re: All Ireland Alfa Meet Healys Pass 1/2/2009

Afraid the GTV is standard. No mods, just standard parts. Happy with 220 from the front wheels.
Time is not on my side for getting it up and running for the 1st Feb. Will only get to tinker around on the car every second weekend or so...

And from the looks of it... it is not in as good of nick as your black beauty there. Nice wheels.

Looking forward to it already and if anyone wants any parts for their alfas drop me a pm and I can bring them with me and do you all a good price (genuine plugs for around 230ish for a t.spark and cheap arms and links for them), just to help ease the pain after the xmas.

Hi Dave, how much for the front wishbone for a Spider? can you get me a price on the timing belt bits for the GTV too. I'll probably do the water pump at the same time.

Thanks a lot guys....

Healys Pass looks like an ideal place...keep it on the roads down there and have a safe one....

Catch up with you all in the Spring

Ah I thought yours had suspension etc?? Must have been another GTV.

Davo I must get you to take a spin in my car and see what you think is wrong with the engine. And there's a knock from the when you are reversing and slowing down with the brakes just a clunk.

And as Tee O said I think we need to take it a bit handy out there as the road is narrow and we have a good few of us going I don't want what happened to me to happen to anyone as everyone here is old enough to drive it with respect. And it would be great to get a few snaps of a trail of Alfa's to coming down the road.
