Re: the end of my 147 experience..

I think it's the state of the economy as much as the value, perceived or otherwise of Alfas.

Dealers never want to pay full whack whatever the brand of car, they're there to make money.

Re: the end of my 147 experience..

It's hard times out there.
2nd hand car sales are rock bottom (it's usually better and cheaper to import) and unless your prepared to take a hit by dropping prices very low, it's hard to just get calls

Had a look at your ad - would work on the "Summary". If ppl are looking at an alfa they don't need to hear about JC/TG - they've already made up their minds.

TBH your price looks spot on - but dealers are starting to drop there prices due to market problems.

Something else - you won't want to hear it - but longford doesn't exactly have a big catchment area. Cars in cities will sell faster just 'cos there are more ppl around. Maybe you have a relative that can house the car while you sell it?!

Definitely try and avoid the dealers. They don't want 2nd hand cars on the lots/books right now as they can't shift them, and as such will only offer you a pittance in comparison

Damien, I don't mind paying the extra if the " Government " would get their act together and sort out all the waste of our tax payers money.
